Divinum Illud Munus

Divinum Illud Munus (English title: On the Holy Spirit) is an encyclical issued by Pope Leo XIII on May 15, 1897.[1]

The encyclical has seven parts:

  3. The Catholic doctrine on the blessed Trinity
  4. The Holy Ghost and Incarnation
  5. The Holy Ghost and the Church
  6. The Holy Ghost in the souls of the just

  8. An annual novena decreed
